Care for Wild
Care for Wild is the largest orphan rhino sanctuary in the world, who specialize in the rescue, rehabilitation, rewilding, release, and ongoing protection of orphaned and injured rhinos. They are deeply committed to the preservation of endangered species that play vital roles in their ecosystems and the conservation of biodiversity.

Ewaso Lions
Ewaso Lions conserves Kenya’s lions and other large carnivores by promoting coexistence between people and wildlife. Ewaso Lions uses sound science, education, and capacity building to foster support for conservation and help guide the long-term conservation management of lions in protected areas and on private lands.

Giraffe Conservation Foundation
The Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF) is dedicated to securing a future for all giraffe populations and (sub)species in the wild. Giraffes are only found in Africa and are an integral part of the African ecosystem.

International Rhino Foundation
The International Rhino Foundation (IRF) is dedicated to the survival of the world’s rhinos species through conservation and research. IRF protects particularly threatened rhino populations in the wild, while also supporting applied research that can help to improve the chances for long-term survival of all rhino species.

Lemur Conservation Network
The Lemur Conservation Network believes that lemurs can be saved from extinction if we all work together. They formed a network of over 60 conservation organizations working in Madagascar. This network is supported by promoting lemur conservation worldwide, creating shared education resources, and empowering Malagasy conservationists through small grants and professional development.

Okapi Conservation Project
The Okapi Conservation Project works in the heart of the Democratic Republic of Congo to protect the natural habitat of the endangered okapi and other species that live in the Ituri Forest. Many of these species are found nowhere else in the world.

Painted Dog Conservation Inc
The mission of Painted Dog Conservation Inc (PDC Inc) is to support the conservation of the endangered African painted dog (wild dog) through anti-poaching efforts, scientific research, wildlife rehabilitation, and community education.

Pangolin Conservation & Research Foundation
The Pangolin Conservation & Research Foundation (PCRF) works toward a sustainable future for pangolins in southern Africa through research, conservation, community engagement, and education. By advancing scientific understanding and raising awareness, PCRF aims to protect pangolins and support the long term survival of African species.

Red Panda Network
The Red Panda Network is committed to the conservation of wild red pandas and their habitat through the education and empowerment of local communities. Red pandas are the only species of its kind in the world, their preservation is vital to global biodiversity.

SAFE Tree Kangaroo of Papua New Guinea
The overall goal of SAFE Tree Kangaroo of Papua New Guinea is to contribute to the conservation of tree kangaroos in the wild and support the local communities where the species live in Papua New Guinea (PNG). By inspiring and empowering AZA members, guests, and global partners, the Tree Kangaroo SAFE program will link community-based conservation initiatives in PNG with the efforts and support of AZA members and partners.

The Sea Turtle Conservancy is the world’s oldest sea turtle research and conservation group. It is the mission of Sea Turtle Conservancy to ensure the survival of sea turtles within the Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific through research, education, training, advocacy and protection of the natural habitats upon which they depend.
